New and exclusive at Foodflows: Yellow Arabica Cascara

They're finally here!

With our last container shipment (see other blog articles) we also brought the golden-yellow coffee cherries from Diogo's Farm to Europe for the first time.

There are plenty of yellow coffee varieties (such as "Arara" in our case), however, just like the red varieties, the husks usually oxidize to the traditional brown color of cascara.

Our post-harvest process, however, preserves the color and fruity aromas of the coffee cherries, which is why they are unique and exclusively available at Foodflows.

The yellow variety has hardly any earthy or bitter taste and, even after longer extraction, boasts aromatic notes of tropical fruits. This makes it ideal for iced teas and, in winter, also as a base for punch.

We offer the coffee cherries in the classic 100g bag or in whole 7.5 sacks for business customers.
